Rich Jensen passed on October 30, 2009, at the age of 81.  Rich was one of the most enjoyable people with whom I have had the privelege of pitching horseshoes.  I met Rich at my first horseshoe tournament, the Rocky Mountain Open, in 1992.  We pitched the final game of our class and it came down to the the last horseshoe pitched to determine the winner of our class.  We both had a close shoe and had to measure for the point . . . Rich won.  He said with an endearing smile that it was the first time he had ever won his class.  I learned since then that he wore that infectious smile whether he won or lost.  Rich will be missed by many of us.      -Lee
